It’s a Big Year & Other Things

This is a big year for me. I could feel it even before I stepped foot into 2016, but of course, it never turns out looking how you thought it would. Soon, we will be buying a house. After that, we’ll be moving into a newly remodelled business space for Your Spirit Sparkle. My relationships have expanded in a million ways and my word is better and more valuable than ever.

I’m still makin’ mistakes here and there and I don’t see that stopping anytime soon. Those are the moments I learn the most in the shortest period of time. As painful as they may be, I am grateful.

Overall, time seems to pass more quickly, but in my daily life, I am slowing down. I have been slowing down, but my recent trip to Asheville, North Carolina supported this desire even more.

I’ve been an online entrepreneur for over 6 years. It feels really good becoming more present in my physical world. I will never leave the online world entirely, but it sure is nice to step away from the screens and breathe the fresh air and lay in the grass and just laugh with those around me. I’m so grateful for all the powerful men and women I have attracted into my life. My soul is fed on the regular.

One of the many perks of becoming more present locally is my recent nomination into the role of President for the Downtown Merchants Committee (name to be determined). I just know that in time we’re going to support our downtown’s growth in fun and tremendous ways! Our next meeting is on 5/31 if you’d like to attend.

Spirit, thank you for my husband. Thank you for our constantly evolving relationship and his willingness to love me unconditionally and hold space for my ever-changing truths. I am beyond grateful for how hard he works and how dedicated to his craft he is. I have so much respect for the pride he takes in his accomplishments and his effort to do something well and right. I am grateful for all that his character has shown me and the space he gives me to discover life, both together and individually. We are rich and boundless together and I love every moment of it. (This coming June will be our 5 year wedding anniversary!)

I am grateful from my friends and clients Jo Anna, Briana and David for working their magic and getting me to Asheville. I had a glorious time and each of you left lasting, love-filled imprints upon my soul. Thank you a million times over. Knowing each of you has changed my life for the better.

I am grateful I have the knowledge and know-how to help my mind work for me. I spent so much of my youth a victim of my emotions. With every passing year I learn how to use self-awareness in my favor. Because of this tool I feel great personal power and alignment with my values.
