3 Ways to Make Room for Miracles

When you make room in your life for miracles it’s as if everyday is the perfect storm of beautiful! – @MeganMonique (click here to tweet!)

Lately I’ve been reading A Course in Miracles and from the time I began reading until now, my perception on Miracles has changed quite a bit.

I use to think that Miracles happened in my desperate moments of need when I was at my ropes end. They were the things that happen when we least expected them to, giving us proof that God does in fact, exist.

And while all of those things are still true, I now also believe that a Miracle is something we call into action. Not just by begging for it in our hour of need, but by operating as though our purpose here is to be a cause for Miracles to take place.

By us choosing to believe that they exist and that we are capable of not only manifesting them, but facilitating them we accept a huge responsibility of our oneness and connection to Source.

A Course in Miracles says,

Miracles arise from a mind that is ready for them.

By preparing our lives for Miracles, we are also preparing our mind. Here are 10 things I believe in doing to prepare your life for Miracles.

Note: There are infinite ways to prepare your life for Miracles if at any point, even while reading this post something pops into your mind, calling your soul to take action; consider that an indication of what might lead to a Miracle. Your intuition always trumps all.

3 Ways to Make Room in Your Life for Miracles

1. Nature – When you wake up in the morning, start the first 5 minutes of your day outside (even if it’s just on your porch) to take in the sun, clouds, wind and birds. Even if it’s cold, grab your jacket and go! Having your first connection in the morning with nature is Heaven. Say hello to the grass and the trees, close your eyes and send them thoughts of love. Say thank you out-loud as you take a deep inhale and release. Ahh! That’s nice!

2. Community – I have about 5-7 people in my life that I talk to on a weekly basis. Whether I need to vent and cry, celebrate and share or laugh my pants off, I know I can reach out to any of these people at any given time and feel better by the end of a phone call or hug. I believe one of our biggest miracle-clogs is feeling like we have to go through things alone. Having friends you can lean on is part of what it means to be happy in this world!

3. Money Love – It wasn’t until the beginning of this year that I really began to see changes in my relationship to money. I still have a lot of work to do, but I’ve come along way! These days I have revenue floating in from all different angles – it’s amazing. One of the actions that gave me the biggest relief in our financial area was giving my money some lovin’! It’s hard to talk yourself into really loving your money when we can sometimes carry resentment towards it when there’s not enough. But know this, the more you love your money, the more it loves you! Kate Northrup, money-lover, ¬†believes that you should log in to your bank account once a day and shower love on the numbers, no matter what they may be. She also believes that having a good account where your money is, how it’s coming in and where it’s going creates a system of abundance! This has made a huge difference for me and I know it will for you too!
