When in Doubt, Just Be

Whatever your activity, just ask that it be used to bless the world. – Marianne Williamson

It starts when we’re little with ‘what do you want to be when you grow up?

In school, it’s perpetuated by the need to figure out what it is you want to do in the world by the time you graduate.

I know plenty of people in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, who have yet to discover what it is they want to be when they grow up.

This is because our emphasis is placed on the wrong perception.

Life is less about what you do and more about how you do.

If you decided you wanted to be an activist for animal rights and you did so with anger and hate your methods would be much less effective than if you became an animal activist from the space of desire for peace and love in the world.

If you’ve been struggling with what it is you want DO in the world, take a deep breath and let go.

The appropriate action will find you when your intentions are in alignment with your Higher Self.

First decide, how it is you want to BE in the world and start by practicing that. The rest will come naturally.

Practice doing the dishes with love.

Practice being a presence of calm within your work place.

Practice acceptance of everyone you meet.

Imagine you are a wave of abundance washing over yourself and everyone around you.

For now, just be.
